||Observations for Late October - Early November
by Dan Nelson
It's that time again when days have grown shorter, and most of our summertime
birds have flown south for the winter. Many of us notice that our backyard
feeders become busier, and need regular fill-ups to satisfy the hungry appetites
of our recently arrived winter residents. There are still a number of interesting
sightings to report, as we keep a watchful eye on others in hopes they might
remain for the upcoming Christmas Counts. Noteworthy sightings for late
