San Pablo Bay Flyway Festival
Fourth Annual
Northern San Francisco Bay
Flyway Festival
January 21-23, 2000
Building 505
Mare Island, Vallejo, CA
Celebrate the natural treasures of San Francisco Bay's north shore during
the height of the migration of over one million shorebirds and hundreds
of thousands of waterfowl along the Pacific Flyway. This year's event also
celebrates the 25th anniversary of San Pablo Bay National Wildlife Refuge.
The Festival offers an opportunity to gain a greater awareness of the Refuge,
comprised of over 13,000 acres spanning Sonoma, Napa and Solano Counties.
Enthusiasm about the event emphasizes the need to renovate Building 505
to house a Wildlife Discovery Center for the North Bay. To demonstrate our
strong support of this event, Madrone Audubon Society has contributed $500
to the Flyway Festival.
What can you do to ensure the success of this year's Festival and support
the Wildlife Discovery Center?
> Attend and bring a friend or your entire family.
> Volunteer to assist before and during the event.
> Contribute a cash donation.
> Vow to become better acquainted with your wild neighbors!
