EDITOR OF MADRONE LEAVES RESIGNS
Judy Schuknecht Burness, has announced her retirement as editor of the Madrone
Leaves. For several years she and her co-editors have carefully and skillfully
shaped and directed our newsletter toward its present position as an informative
and reader friendly award-winning publication. Her resignation was reluctantly
accepted by President Joanne Dranginis, who says, "For her contribution
to the Madrone Leaves, Judy is irreplaceable. I hope she will remain with
us as a friend and advisor."
We all thank Judy for the considerable time and effort that she has devoted
to her editorial duties, and for setting such a high standard for others
