October General Meeting Birds of Britain"Birds of Britain" is the topic for Madrone Audubon's general meeting on October 19. Speaker Bud Getty, a well-known Madrone member, birder, and Superintendent of the Silverado District, California State Parks, recently returned from his eighth trip to England, Scotland, and Wales. Both his field experiences and his knowledge of the birds assure us of an evening that will whet our appetites for birding in the British Isles. The meeting begins at 7:30 PM, October 19, 1998, at the first Presbyterian Church, Ingram Hall, 1550 Pacific Avenue, Santa Rosa. As always, the public is welcome. |
