"Feathered Friends": Spectacular Photographs

Noted wildlife photographer Don Jackson of Forestville will show some of his award-winning images in a photographic talk on "Feathered Friends and Other Stuff, from Tule Lake to Mono Lake" at the Madrone Audubon monthly meeting, Monday evening, September 21. Don is one of our county's remarkable artists, and his work is both inspiring and unforgettable.

Don is recognized far beyond Sonoma County. The British Broadcasting Corporation has named him International Wildlife Photographer of the Year, and his exhibit on Mono Lake was featured at the 1996 National Audubon Society meeting. Outdoor California magazine selected him as Photographer of the Year, and he has taken first place in many shows, including the annual Klamath Lake Bald Eagle Conference.

The meeting begins at 7:30 PM, September 21, 1998, at the first Presbyterian Church, Ingram Hall, 1550 Pacific Avenue, Santa Rosa. As always, the public is welcome.
