Planning for Walkabouts
If you enjoy the mid-week Walkabouts but have never helped plan them, feel guilty---please! We have lots of willing trip leaders for the walks beginning in September, but need one or two people to schedule them and to handle the minimal paperwork that is involved. If you can help, please call Betty Burridge at 547-0225.

Hospitality
Madrone Audubon is looking for a chairperson, hosts and hostesses to be greeters and organize refreshments for membership meetings beginning in September. Willing? Please call Joanne Dranginis at 523-4373. Sign up with a friend and share the duty!

Volunteer Coordinator
This is the position that matches up volunteers and jobs. It can all be done on the phone. The Chapter has an extensive list of potential workers, and this is an area with lots of undeveloped potential. Joanne would appreciate hearing from you.

Outreach Helpers
Madrone Audubon has many opportunities to bring Sonoma County residents information about birding and conservation. These opportunities are missed when we don't have enough volunteers to man the booths. Nancy Vizi, Outreach Chair, is looking for people who are willing to help. "Staffing a booth is fun, and you meet some very nice and interesting people," she says. "You don't have to be an expert on anything---just pleasant and friendly." If you would staff one exhibit a year, please call Nancy at 539-7792.
