Greeters at Bouverie. This is a one-day volunteer job with nice benefits. As part of Madrone Audubon's commitment to Audubon Canyon Ranch, the Chapter provides "hosts" at the Bolinas Lagoon preserve for several weekend days during the heron and egret nesting season. The hosts greet visitors and point them where they want to go---no ornithological expertise required. You can share the job with a friend, and take your breaks during the day watching one of the Bay Area's most active rookeries. For further information, please contact Judy Brinkerhoff at 887-1500 (email: joodbrink@aol.com).

Karen Nagel, MembershipChair, needs help in our program of contacting new members to welcome them. If you can make a few calls a month, please call Karen at 938-5238.

Thanks
Mayacamas Bird Box Crew. On behalf of the Mayacamas Sanctuary's bluebirds and their associates, many thanks to those who put up bird boxes at the Sanctuary this spring. They are Ian Morrison, Gayle Greeley, Lohn Lundblad, Chris Powicki, and Peter Leveque. Peter has been spearheading a tremendous  bird box construction effort for Madrone. Forty Madrone-constructed boxes recently were purchased by Viansa Winery for its wetland area.
