New Book Saving the Marin-Sonoma CoastL. Martin Griffin, M.D., one of Sonoma County's foremost conservationists, has documented some decisive North Coast environmental battles in his new book, Saving the Marin-Sonoma Coast. Dr. Griffin is well known for his leadership in creating Audubon Canyon Ranch and its three sanctuaries, including the Bouverie Audubon Preserve in Glen Ellen. He was also a major player in the fight for the Point Reyes National Seashore and is a leader in the ongoing battle to save the Russian River. Dr. Griffin will be the speaker at Madrone Audubon's annual meeting on Monday evening, May 18. The book will be available there for purchase and signing.
