Coffee Donation

Thanksgiving Coffee of Fort Bragg has given Madrone Audubon a supply of its shade-grown Songbird coffee, which will be served at the Christmas Bird Count. Songbird, like other shade-grown coffees, is cultured under a diverse and biologically productive canopy of trees; sun-grown coffee varieties, by contrast, are raised in a virtual biological desert. Our choice of coffee and its impact on migratory birds will be discussed by Ken Wilson in the next issue of the Leaves.
