Old Field Guides Needed Ms. Carroll's 5th grade class at Willowside School has need of old field guide books. The class studies birds throughout the year and participates in weekly field trips to observe and record sightings at the nearby Santa Rosa Creek. This will be the third year with 25 students each year; making 75 budding birders and possible future Audubon members. The books need not be current or unmarked, in fact old notes prove that some people are interested in studying things all their lives. If you have an unused field guide--Zim, Peterson, etc.--that covers California, please call Gay Bishop-Brorstrom at 823-4929 or bring the guides to the next Madrone Audubon Society meeting.
