Madrone On-line

Linda Curry, past editor of the Leaves, has volunteered to edit the Environmental Alerts section of our Web Site (audubon.sonoma.net). We expect to publish time-critical information and in-depth articles that are too long for the Leaves. Be sure to add this to your bookmarks menu. Thanks Linda!

Also, thanks to Betty Burridge, Madrone Audubon's Web Site now contains detailed year-around birding profiles for Bodega Bay, and for Santa Rosa Creek at Willowside Road. They're full of great information, and Betty is planning to add more Sonoma County birding hot-spots as inspiration and the seasons dictate.

Timely information on state and national conservation issues is now available on-line from California Audubon's legislative analyst, John McCaull. To subscribe, simply send him an e-mail at jmmccaull@audubon.org, tell him you're an Audubon member, and include in the message the words 'Subscribe to Rotunda Report'. There is no charge for this service, and you'll be amazed how many important battles are being fought by our Audubon representatives, who need our help.
