Volunteers

Thanks to all those who responded to Robert Evans' request for help withthe Burrowing Owl Survey. He reports that about half of the 15 volunteerobservers on the study were respondents to his request in the Leaves(see article).

Many thanks also to Sandy Eastoak for responding to our request for avolunteer to help design a Madrone Audubon window decal. The project isunder way.

Madrone Audubon's Web Site (audubon.sonoma.net) now contains a comprehensivemonth-by-month guide to birding at Bodega Bay, prepared by Betty Burridge. We're hoping Betty will do the same for some of our other birding "hotspots." Malcolm Blanchard, who designed and put together the site,is still looking for someone to handle the web-page store. If you can help, please call Malcolm at 996-0935.

Karen Nagel, Membership Chair, needs help in our program of contactingnew members to welcome them. If you can make a few calls a month, pleasecall Karen at 938-5238. Special thanks to Amanda Dranginis for all her helpduring the past school year.
