Birdathon Results With money still coming in, this year's Birdathon already has raised a record $5,400, compared to about $4,000 at this time last year. Congratulations to all who participated, and especially to Chairwoman Betty Groce, along with the dozens who donated and helped to make this a tremendously successful event. Other contributions, including memorial gifts and the fund drive initiated through the Leaves in December, raised an additional $2,400 this year. Like the Birdathon, these voluntary contributions help to support the chapter's growing youth, education, and conservation programs.
