Field Trip Report

The March Field Trip was held at Howarth and Spring Lake Parks. To start the day a cooperative Osprey sat in a dead tree for every one of the fourteen birders to see. Titmice were the ever-present rattle overhead. Several pairs of Common Mergansersin breeding plumage were at Howarth. Early arrivals at Spring Lake were Bullock's Orioles and Wilson's Warblers. This was a first attempt at birding for many of the participants.
