Prepare for Summer With Pee Wee Audubon

On Sunday, April 20, from 10 to 2, Pee Wee Audubon will meet at PomoCanyon Campground for a day of nature games and activities among the woodsand open fields. Trip leader David Berman is a popular nature educator whomakes learning fun for all. He is also a first aid instructor, and willfocus on awareness and safety in the out-of-doors, as well as low-impactcamping, first aid tips, what to do if you get lost, and more. Bring a smallbackpack and lunch; we will do some hiking on the beautiful trails of PomoCanyon Campground.

The Campground is located on Willow Creek Road, which runs east fromHighway 1, just south of the Russian River. Turn at the Sizzling TandoorRestaurant and proceed about two miles to Pomo Canyon Campground. Thereis a $2 parking fee.

Please call Elham at 573-7183 to make your family's reservations forthis special outing. Allow one hour to reach the campground from Santa Rosa;30 minutes from Sebastopol.

Upcoming programs include a visit to the Point Reyes National Seashoreon May 17 or 18, and a close-up look at the mudflats of Spuds Point, BodegaBay, with Peter Leveque, June 8.
