General Meeting

Dan Kahane, Madrone's Vice President, will be the featured speaker atthe April general meeting. His talk is titled "Private Preserves andRefuges--Their Role and Significance." Mr. Kahane has worked as a naturalistat the Chanselor Ranch Wetlands in Salmon Creek and at Safari West in SantaRosa. He worked for National Audubon in southern California for severalyears before moving to Sonoma County. He will illustrate the program withslides. Expect lots of excellent bird photographs.

The meeting begins at 7:30 PM, April 21, 1997, at the First PresbyterianChurch, Ingram Hall, 1550 Pacific Avenue, Santa Rosa. As always, the publicis welcome.
