Field Trip Report

Saturday, February 22, 1997
Fourteen birders metat the Bodega Harbor Rail Ponds on a warm spring-like day and were subsequentlyjoined by six enthusiastic Santa Rosa Junior College students adding thesparkle of youth to our group. The Virginia Rail and Sorarewarded our patience. Highlights included Red Knots and the EmperorGoose which is almost (but hopefully not) a permanent resident at WestsidePark. Eighty-six species were counted.
