Pee Wee Report

Bat Program, January 25
I went to an Audubon batfestival and Pat Winters told us that bats are not really vampires. Thosebats you have in your heads are not real bats! Throw those bats out of yourhead! Bats are actually really nice if you leave them alone. I learned alot. I learned that bats are one of the most important animals.

One kind of bat pollinates the life tree. If that bat dies out all ofthe creatures who depend on that tree will die out because the tree dies.Bats are dying out faster than any other mammals. Save our bats!

Janet Green My Orff teacher was there and taught a pretty bat song andshe told a great story.
