Want to Sail the Bay?

Madrone Audubon members are being offered a free sailboat ride on SanFrancisco Bay on March 1, 1997, courtesy of the San Francisco Bay OceananicCrew Group. Each year this group offers to take members of various Bay AreaAudubon chapters on a fun and educational sail. Most boats are in the range of32-37 feet long and can carry four or five people. During the sail, an effortis made to locate as many bird species as possible. Bring a lunch as the planis to anchor at a cove for a pot-luck lunch.

If you are interested in participating in this adventure, simply send apostcard or letter requesting the number of seats desired to: Pat Clark,Audubon Sail Coordinator, 11Rolling Green Circle, Pleasant Hill, California94523. Seats are on a first come, first serve basis. Reservation requests mustbe received no later than February 18, 1997.
