Want to Sail the Bay?Madrone Audubon members are being offered a free sailboat ride on SanFrancisco Bay on March 1, 1997, courtesy of the San Francisco Bay OceananicCrew Group. Each year this group offers to take members of various Bay AreaAudubon chapters on a fun and educational sail. Most boats are in the range of32-37 feet long and can carry four or five people. During the sail, an effortis made to locate as many bird species as possible. Bring a lunch as the planis to anchor at a cove for a pot-luck lunch.

Seats are on a first come, first serve basis. Reservation requests mustbe received no later than February 18, 1997.
