I learned that a wetland makes a home for lots ofanimals, birds and plants. I learned about the food chain. We saw lots ofspecies of birds, Coots, Pellicans, Swallows, the Great BlueHeron, the Snowy Egret, and Phoebe. We heard the MarshWren make a clicking sound. They put up big poles for the Osprey. They want the Osprey to live here and have more babies so it won, tbecome extinct like the Dodo. The marsh does other good things, too. Ithelps control floods and it makes the water pure again. Clifford Bevans |
