The Winter of the Red-breasted Nuthatch

January General Meeting

The Ecology and Reproductive Biology of the Harp and Hooded Sealpresented by Dr. Robert Rubin will be the featured program of the JanuaryGeneral Meeting of the Madrone Audubon Society. Dr. Rubin is a renownedlecturer at Santa Rosa Junior College who just recently was named theCalifornia College Professor of the Year by the Carnegie Foundation for theAdvancement of Teaching. During 1990 and 1991, Dr. Rubin participated inresearch on these seals who live on the fast ice of the St. Lawrence River. Dr.Rubin will illustrate his discussion of the research with not-to-be-missedslides. Don't miss this fascinating presentation.

The meeting begins at 7:30 PM, January 20, 1997, at the First Presbyterian Church,Ingram Hall, 1550 Pacific Avenue, Santa Rosa.As always, the public is welcome.
