I thinkI could recognize birds from each group now by the way they fly. I alsoliked looking at all the demonstration materials, like the talons and thewings. It also was neat how they banded and released a hawk. Thank you forletting us come and see all that neat stuff. Mark Palmatier age 10 We went to Hawk Hill for a Pee Wee Audubon field trip. It was foggy. Wewent to the GGRO office and learned about how to tell a raptor from otherbirds (by its short neck, long tail and the way it flaps its wings). Wewatched the banding and release of two Cooper's Hawks back at HawkHill. We thought our field trip was fun. Lorielle and Andrew Fiedler ages 11 and 8 |
