He will discuss the biology of the Revillagigedos archipelago, afascinating group of islands located approximately 250 miles southwest of thetip of Baja, California. Dr. Baptista is an authority on the biology andecology of birds, especially bird song and animal communication.The lectureship was established in honor of Peter Leveque, Madrone Audubon'simmediate past president, upon his retirement from 35 years as a biologyteacher at the College. Parking is available for $1.50 in the Emeritus/Plover Library parking lot onElliott Avenue.
