Having recently moved into a house in South Sebastopol overlooking the Santa Rosa plain I find myself more and more interested in the birds abounding here. I've put up three birdfeeders, checked out six bird books at the library and have several sets of binoculars at the ready around the house. My best bird pics are attached. Anna's hummingbirds possibly. The fledgling shot was taken digitally some days after the others with the memory stick on my camcorder. As I reached for my Nikon to get something on film they decided to take their first flight and were gone in an instant.
